Advantages of Online Cleaning of Pond/Sumps
1. Reuses of wastewater/Filtrate:
The sludge laden water will be pumped out and fed to the filter press where, the material will be processed to form cakes. The water from the material will be sucked and reintroduced to the guard pond / can be used as raw water for the garden. In this way, the residue sludge density in the pond will be reduced. Very little fresh water will be required as compared to the conventional method of wasting this water into pond.
2. Ease of disposing waste atLandfill:
As against the conventional method of collecting and disposing of water with sludge here, in the online method, cakes formed constitute about 20% mass of the waste. Hence, land space required in landfills will be much less.
3. Manpower Reduction & Overhead lostimplications
The method involves more of a mechanized process and less manpower which saves a lot of trouble in managing head wart safety, gate movement, paper work for the client. The online process is more efficient and can be worked round the clock 24x7x52hours
